Harmony of Beings
My artwork envisions a harmonious future where AI, robots, and nature coexist in perfect balance. The piece blends organic elements like flowers, leaves, and bushes with futuristic technology, symbolizing a world where human innovation and nature are intertwined.
Project Insight
The dove represents peace and trust between animals and robots.
The robot is analyzing the dove and also taking care of the little girl which shows how technology and humans can connect.

Hourglass in Space
The sand timers, traditionally containing sand, are reimagined in this project, which instead contains aliens, planets, litter, and trees. Each timer is suspended in a weightless environment in space.
Project Insight
The planets on the tree symbolizes the possibility of having life in space.
This astronaut is sitting on a melting ball which starts to show some planets. It represents how space technology is evolving which allows us to learn more about space.

A Trio of Perspectives
This project aims to create a series of illustrations depicting three girls playing the flute, captured from three distinct perspectives. The front view will showcase their positioning of their hands as they play the flute while the back and side view shows a clear view of their posture.

Girl Portrait
This realistic drawing uses pencil strokes to create a sense of volume and dimension, with attention to the natural contours of her features. The background is minimal and softly blurred to keep the focus on the girl’s portrait.

Basket of Food
The food items in the woven basket are carefully arranged so that the basket looks like it is abundant with food. Light and shadows are made with different colors and pressures to enhance the dimension while also making the fruits and vegetables look more appealing.

My Art Teacher
Name: Xiaowei Chen
Born in Beijing in 1978, Xiaowei Chen is a Chinese-American artist. From 2000 to 2005 she worked in television production and produced and directed multiple independent documentary films. She was also a guest artist lecturer at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Xiaowei Chen's work includes drawing, video, and sculpture. Her works have won multiple art awards in the United States, China, Japan, and Venice, and have been exhibited in art museums, expos, and galleries.
